Ashley, a Massachusetts native, grew up just north of Boston & began her dance career at Ellen’s School of Dance. She received extensive training in various styles including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical & contemporary. Ashley went on to become a member of the studio’s competition team, competing for 11 years at competitions & conventions throughout the New England area.
Ashley attended Assumption University where she continued to pursue her passion for dance. She was a four-year member of the nationally ranked Assumption Dance Team, holding the role of President and Captain for both her junior and senior years.
During her time as captain, she choreographed for various on-campus events & game day routines. She helped lead the team to a 2nd place finish at NDA Collegiate Nationals in Daytona, Florida in 2012. She graduated from Assumption that same year with a bachelor’s degree in business management and marketing.
Ashley continued her involvement with the Assumption University Dance Team & became the team’s Head Coach from 2014-2019. During this time, she led the team to a Pom National Championship at Dance Team Union’s College Class in 2018.
In 2019, the team placed 3rd in Pom & 6th in Team Performance at NDA’s Collegiate Nationals. After re-location to Chicago in November 0f 2019, Ashley transitioned into the role of Advisor & continues her involvement with the team as a virtual consultant.
Post graduation, Ashley also joined DanceWorks Boston, the city’s largest performance-based organization for advanced & technically trained dancers. She was a dancer & choreographer for the company from 2012-2019. She created & performed in routines of numerous styles including contemporary, jazz, tap & hip-hop. Ashley was responsible for auditioning dancers, leading weekly rehearsals, choosing costumes, & assisting with the overall stage production. She also led multiple master classes in between seasons to assist in recruiting new company members.
Ashley is currently a Head Coach for the Loyola Academy Varsity Ramblerettes Dance Team & continues to work with various dance teams, performance companies & studios throughout the country.
Whether it's a master class, providing original competition choreography or consulting for coaches & studio owners who wants to take their routines to the next level, Ashley's goal is to inspire, motivate & challenge every dancer she works with!
